MICK AITKEN - A TRIBUTE TO A KIND, CARING AND GENTLE SOUL

I was shocked (as I think we all are) to hear the very sad news of Mick Aitken's passing, on Tuesday the 16th June 2009.

We thought we would set up this site to we can all stay connected and in touch with news and thoughts...

Sending lots of love and light to ALL of Mick's family and friends.
He is widely adored and greatly missed.

MICK'S FUNERAL DETAILS:
The family and friends of the later Mr. Michael (Mick) Aitken are invited to assemble for his Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 24, at 10.30 a.m. in the Heysen Chapel Centennial Park, Goodwood Road, Pasadena.

In lieu of floral tributes, if preferred, you are welcome to make a donation to a trust fund for the welfare of Michael’s children Brett and Georgia, through his brother Robert. Donation envelopes will be available at the Chapel.

The family of Mick Aitken would like to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who has written or contacted us over the sudden death of our loving and beautiful son Michael. All your thoughts and memories of him have touched us deeply and have been much appreciated. We have been overwhelmed by your generosity. We know Mick loved his work and the people he worked with, especially the years he spent on McLeod’s Daughters. Thank you all so much.
